An Open Day is held early in Term 1 of the preceding year to inform parents of the benefits and responsibilities of their son / daughter becoming a student at John Therry Catholic High School. Enrolment packages can be collected on the Open Day. Enrolment packages are also available at the John Therry school office and at feeder primary Catholic school offices (after Open Day).

All enrolment applicants will be interviewed. A parent or guardian is to accompany prospective students to their interviews.

Notification of acceptance / non acceptance will be forwarded by mail at the end of Term 2. Acceptance / non acceptance of the offer of placement at JTCHS to be returned by beginning of Term 3. Unsuccessful applicants will be given the opportunity to be placed on a waiting list.

Enrolment packages may be collected from the school office. All sections of the enrolment form must be completed. All documentation as outlined in the enrolment package must be attached. Enrolment application to be returned to School Secretary. Application is then referred to Principal. The Principal will interview parents and prospective students at an appointed time. Parents will receive notification of acceptance/non acceptance within one week of interview with the Principal. After a successful application a date for student commencement at John Therry Catholic High School will be determined.
