The School Planner

Students must bring their planner to school every day and they must take it to every class.

Any teacher can use the planner to communicate with parents at any time.
Students are to show these communications to their parents
and have them initial them.

Students are to record all homework, dates and details of any assignments or assessment tasks in their school planner.

A parental note in the planner is required when:

Students are unable to wear full school uniform
Students must show this to their Learning Mentor, who will initial the note.

Students are unable to complete their homework
Students must show this to their class teacher, who will initial the note.

Students are unable to participate in sport
Students must show this to the Sports Co-Ordinator, who will initial the note.

Students cannot participate in the practical lesson
Students must show this to their class teacher, who will initial the note.

The planner is an important resource. Students MUST NOT have graffiti in or on the planner. No photographs are to be glued in or on the planner, nor anything written in it that is unacceptable in a Catholic School. If any of these situations occur or the planner is damaged, a new planner will need to be purchased at a cost of $20.00. These can be purchased from the Uniform Shop.

The planner is checked by the Learning Mentor each Monday during Learning Group. Other teachers will periodically check the school planner.
